Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026. Plain-language summary of what data DailyCalc collects, why, and what rights you have.
1. The short version
DailyCalc is designed to collect as little data as possible. Our calculators run entirely in your browser — the numbers you type into a tool never leave your device and are never sent to our servers. We do not require accounts, so we do not hold names, emails, or profiles. We use cookies for two purposes only: to serve and measure advertising (Google AdSense) and to understand overall site usage (privacy-friendly analytics). That is the whole picture; the sections below spell it out in detail.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us directly. The only personal information we may receive is what you send us yourself — for example, if you email us at hello@dailicalc.com. We use such messages only to respond to you.
Calculator inputs. Values you enter into our calculators are processed locally in your browser using JavaScript. They are not transmitted to, stored on, or accessible to us.
Automatically collected information. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics infrastructure may log standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and time spent on pages. This data is aggregated and used only to keep the site running and to understand which tools are popular.
3. Cookies
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device. DailyCalc and its advertising partners use cookies to:
- serve advertisements and measure their performance;
- remember basic preferences that make the site work properly;
- produce anonymous, aggregate statistics about site usage.
You can control cookies through your browser settings: you can block all cookies, delete existing ones, or be notified when a cookie is set. Note that blocking cookies may affect how some features (including personalized ads) behave, but our calculators will continue to work.
4. Google AdSense and third-party advertising
DailyCalc uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our visitors based on their visit to our site and other sites on the Internet.
Google uses the DoubleClick cookie (also known as the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve interest-based ads. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info.
Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. These vendors have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. DailyCalc has no access to or control over the cookies used by third-party advertisers.
5. Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate usage of the site, such as which calculators are most visited. Cloudflare Web Analytics is designed to be privacy-friendly and does not use client-side state (such as cookies) to collect usage metrics. No personal data is sold or shared for advertising through our analytics.
6. How we use information
Any information described above is used only to operate, maintain, and improve DailyCalc: keeping the site secure and available, understanding which tools visitors find useful, responding to messages you send us, and complying with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information to anyone.
7. Data sharing
We share data only in these limited cases: with service providers that help us operate the site (hosting, analytics, advertising) under their own privacy policies; if required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of our users; or in connection with a transfer of the site's ownership, in which case users would be notified of any material change.
8. Your rights under GDPR (EEA/UK visitors)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask for it to be corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Because we collect so little data, in most cases there will be nothing to provide — but we will honor every request. Contact us at hello@dailicalc.com.
9. Your rights under CCPA/CPRA (California visitors)
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected about them, to request its deletion, to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. DailyCalc does not sell personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@dailicalc.com and we will respond within the timeframes required by law.
10. Children's privacy
DailyCalc is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
11. Data security and retention
We take reasonable technical measures to protect the site, including HTTPS encryption for all pages. Because calculator inputs never leave your browser and we keep no user accounts, there is minimal personal data to retain; messages you send us by email are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if we add new analytics or advertising services. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
